Overview:
During the Beijing Winter Olympics in February 2022, France Télévisions launched an innovative virtual space within VRChat, replicating their iconic sports program, Stade 2. This immersive environment allowed users to explore the virtual studio, participate in winter sports-themed mini-games, and interact with others in a snowy mountain setting.
In this video I edited, I combined segments from the official France Télévisions broadcast with explorations of the virtual world. This included a walkthrough with members of the “Metaverse Crew,” where we engaged in various mini-games and showcased the interactive elements of the virtual space.
