Turbo Killer Experience brings French synthwave icon Carpenter Brut into Fortnite, as a new dimension of ARTE Riff Mountain. Players pick a vehicle and dive into a frantic race through a retro-futuristic universe inspired by the artist, with quick-time sequences and collectibles, while the environment reacts and vibrates to the tempo of his music. The performance of Carpenter Brut and his band was recorded in motion capture and integrated into the game, turning a concert into something you play.
The experience was available from May 29 to June 26, 2026, free for all Fortnite players, solo or with up to four players.
My Role
- found and brought Carpenter Brut to the project, and led the first discussions with the artist and his team;
- took part in the motion capture sessions of the performance at SoWhen?’s MULTIVERT studio;
- followed the production of the experience within ARTE Riff Mountain.
