A 360° trip to the Moon with Marc Caro.

Dans la Lune is the pilot of a 360° science-fiction web series written and directed by Marc Caro, co-director of Delicatessen and The City of Lost Children. In a retro, steampunk universe inspired by Georges Méliès and Jules Verne, a crew made of a pilot, a professor and a robot sets off on a humorous and adventurous flight to the Moon.

The pilot was shot in early 2019 during the Festival Premiers Plans in Angers, in a live studio open to the public. Filming in 360° meant rethinking the whole set: there is no off-screen space, so every technical element and the crew had to disappear. The set was designed and built by Master’s students of ENSA Nantes, with César-winning set designer Jean Rabasse.

As Production Director for Les Docs du Nord, I managed the production of the shoot, then led the post-production of the 360° teaser (stitching, VFX, green-screen compositing, sound and colour grading) and worked on developing the series with platforms and distributors.
