Minuit Machine: Immersive DJ set (2025)
A dark electro DJ set inside a living, real-time nocturnal city.
On October 16, 2025, during MaMA Festival at La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris, Minuit Machine played a DJ set inside an immersive world produced by LidoXR, Zorba’s studio for audio-reactive live performance. The show was part of the Adami evening, curated with the French performers’ rights society. Built on Unreal Engine, the nocturnal cityscape reacted in real time to her set: towers of light, shifting reflections and moving architecture responding to every beat.
The environment was originally created for a previous LidoXR production and re-dressed with new 3D objects designed around the artist’s universe, rather than built from scratch.
My role
As Line Producer, I:
- negotiated the project with MaMA Festival and Adami, and worked with its coordinator Dorothée Hannequin, who booked the evening’s artists and presented them our show, to bring them on board;
- followed the technical development that adapted the LidoXR system, designed for pre-ordered, Ableton-locked track sequences, to a live DJ set with an improvised, non-linear track order;
- led production, coordination and scheduling across the creative, technical and artist teams, and aligned the visual direction with the artist;
- coordinated on show day with the venue, its technicians and the other stage managers, to secure the rig’s technical position during a live festival.
