Mon Cher Guy: Immersive concert (2025)
A bespoke real-time world, built with and for the artist.
On October 16, 2025, during MaMA Festival at La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris, Mon Cher Guy performed an immersive concert produced by LidoXR, Zorba’s studio for audio-reactive live performance. The show was part of the Adami evening, curated with the French performers’ rights society. The Unreal Engine world reacted in real time to the performance, with light, texture and motion evolving with the music as an extension of the artist’s universe.
The world was built from an existing Unreal environment, previously created for another production, and reworked with new assets specific to Mon Cher Guy’s artistic universe, in close collaboration with the artist.
My role
As Line Producer, I:
- negotiated the project with MaMA Festival and Adami, and worked with its coordinator Dorothée Hannequin, who booked the evening’s artists and presented them our show, to bring them on board;
- followed the technical team’s work adapting an existing Unreal world with artist-specific assets, in close collaboration with Mon Cher Guy;
- led production, coordination and scheduling across the creative, technical and artist teams;
- ran the first in-venue deployment of the full LidoXR production rig on a compressed timeline, coordinating on show day with the venue, its technicians and the other stage managers to secure the rig’s technical position during a live festival.
