Bridging art and technology in the heart of Venice.
Over three consecutive years, I had the privilege of collaborating on Venice Immersive, the XR section of La Biennale di Venezia, the prestigious Venice International Film Festival. This globally renowned event celebrates the convergence of art, cinema, and immersive technology, offering a platform for groundbreaking creative works. This collaboration was made possible through the trust and vision of Liz Rosenthal and Michel Reilhac, to whom I extend my deepest gratitude.
As the Production Manager, I oversaw the creation of immersive virtual worlds, ensuring each environment was meticulously crafted to align with the festival’s avant-garde spirit. I also coordinated and organized industry conferences, red carpet photo opportunities, and mini worlds that teased creators’ XR pieces, bringing the immersive realm to vibrant life.
Additionally, I managed the filming and daily broadcasts of these events, extending the festival’s reach to a global audience and capturing the dynamic interplay between participants and the immersive environments.
